TEAM ECCO EDUCATION PROGRAMS

WHAT IS SEA BASE?

  The Sea Base curriculum is made of specially designed programs for group learning.  Educators have a choice of three program levels that can be paired to meet state goals.  In 2021, we shared the ocean with 4,500 program participants!  Your group should be here!
Programs have a maximum count of 30. 
​                              * SB 101 may add up to 5 additional people.  
Available Times:
Tue: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Wed-Fri: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Other times may be available by request.
Teachers receive vocabulary and inquiry sheets for visit preparation. Students will leave the program with a post-visit activity sheet after each program.  Each group may bring 1 teacher who is not counted with group headcount.

​SEA BASE 101

  • 50-minutes 
  • Up to 30 total participants
    (Extra people, $4 per person, five additional maximum)
  • Includes welcome & safety talk, ocean share, introduction to fish, animal scavenger hunt, discussion, tide pool touch, and mystery animal meet and greet.
  • Most popular program for groups aged 3 - 93!
  • Cost $110.00

​SEA BASE 202

  • 1.5-hour visit
  • Follows SB 101 outline
  • Has 30 minute focus class on teacher choice of topic
  • Maximum 30 total in attendance
  • Cost $135.00
  • Live small shark & ray feed may be substituted for focus class as available

​SEA BASE 303

      
  • 2-hour visit
  • Maximum 30 total in attendance
  • Follows SB 101 outline with full 50 minute extended program

    Programs run:  Tues. 9am- 3:00pm & Wed – Fri 9am – 12 noon    Saturday by request
    Team ECCO reserves the right to limit the size of groups. Group head count includes children/students and adults, anyone over the age of 2 years who enter the aquarium with your program. Date and time choices to be confirmed with contract by TeamECCO.
    *Groups over 30 participants contact us for a quote and / or custom arrangements. Larger groups may wish to schedule rotating programs with other venues on Main Street.*
